Who am I?

An English teacher with a pinch of linguistic flair. My journey with English began in preschool, marking some of my earliest childhood memories.

The decision to pursue this career path took many years to make, and despite promising performance in mathematics and physics, I chose the linguistic path. Alongside English, I have taken to studying German and Japanese.

To me, English, as a lingua franca, is the key to finding common ground with people from all over the world. I have experienced this firsthand on many travels and having spent hundreds of hours in gaming. To paraphrase one of my university lecturers: „Once, knowing English was an advantage; today, it’s a must.”

Outside of work, you can find me in bouldering crags, the virtual world, or riding my motorcycle.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Teaching Foreign Languages (with honors), Center for Teacher Training of Foreign Languages and European Education, University of Warsaw

  • Permission to teach primary school students.
  • Passed the internal UW English language proficiency exam (C2).
  • 2x Rector’s scholarship grantee; recognized among top students, the highest GPA 3x.

Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics (with honors), Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw

  • Permission to teach secondary school students and above
  • Focus on teaching and translation, leading to a broader perspective on language teaching and learning.
  • 2x Rector’s scholarship grantee; recognized among top students

Erasmus Scholarship: Refined teaching skills in Austria at KPH Wien/Krems

Experience & Development:

Teaching apprenticeship: Worked as an English and German teacher in primary and high school.

Subcontractor for adult group courses funded by Pruszków City Participatory Budget.

Internal C2 certificate from University of Warsaw
